RouteViews BGP Data Collection Service Degradation

The University of Oregon’s RouteViews project, which collects BGP routing table data from dozens of participating networks around the world, experienced service degradation in mid-August 2024. RouteViews is a foundational resource for internet routing research, providing free access to live BGP feeds and historical routing table snapshots. The degradation was tracked by BGPKit’s status monitoring system.
