France Fiber Cable Sabotage During Paris Olympics
In the days surrounding the opening of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, saboteurs deliberately cut fiber optic cables in multiple regions of France, targeting critical telecommunications infrastructure. The attacks disrupted internet services for customers of multiple French ISPs including SFR, Free, and Bouygues Telecom across affected areas.
